Self-care tip #1—Water

Water - are you getting enough?  If you urine is clear or light yellow you are adequately hydrated, if it is darker yellow it means you are not drinking enough! Personal needs vary based on activity level, age, body weight, and level of consumption of caffeinated drinks.  This US-based ‘rule of thumb’ is helpful: 1/2 your body weight in pounds converted to ounces (eg 150 pounds = 75 oz per day or just over 2 L).
