Myofascial Bodywork Treatments: Got an old injury that’s talking back? Scar tissue from surgery? Stiffness in your joints or “knots” in your shoulders? Or are you noticing lately that you just don’t move as fluidly as you used to? These problems and many other health conditions, can benefit greatly from myofascial release sessions.

Working with the fascial planes in the body, holdings are released through gentle hands-on methods, freeing up energy and restoring balance to the body. Joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release technique, and scar tissue rejuvenation therapy are just some of the tools in Katherine’s toolbox!

Tension can weigh us down, and make living in gravity a struggle for a mis-aligned body. Myofascial release targets the deeper structural imbalances in the body, creating more space, increasing range of motion and alleviating pain. Postural and movement re-education can create more ease in your every-day activities, and prevent you from further injury. After a session with Katherine, most folks leave feeling lighter and more connected to themselves!

Initial Session (includes assessment and consultation) 105 minutes. $160

Hellerwork is a dynamic, three-part system of deep tissue bodywork, movement education and dialogue designed to relieve stress and pain, improve posture and alignment, enhance movement and flexibility and increase energy.

During the eleven 90-minute session series, tension and stress are released and the natural structural balance of the body is restored to a more aligned and relaxed state through a variety of gentle, “hands-on” deep tissue bodywork techniques. Movement education is used to help the client develop a better awareness of their body and movement patterns. Dialogue is used to assist the client in becoming aware of emotional stress that may be related to a physical tension.

Hellerwork reflects the holistic approach to health, viewing the body as a complete and balanced entity, rather than merely a sum of disparate parts.

This unique combination is designed to produce permanent change for lasting good health and personal growth.
